Recipe: Overnight Oats
Over the past 10 years, the words antioxidants and free radicals have been thrown around and used as buzz words for product sales.
But what are they anyhow?!
To simplify, free radicals are unstable cells floating around in our body. They’re caused by… well, life. 🤷♀️
(Breathing, digesting, sun exposure, air pollutions, poor quality foods, etc).
When free radicals get out of control, they wreak havoc on the body and contribute to unhealthy cell reproduction which can lead to disease, aging and cancers.
So yes, we’re fighting cancer- all the time! 😳
But don’t worry! Our body is really good at taking care of the free radicals, 💪 especially when we assist it by eating foods rich in antioxidants. 🍇🍓🍒
The antioxidant cells lend a molecule to the free radicals to make them happy once again. 😀
Berries are not only rich in all these antioxidants, but also have that tart, sour, bitter flavor which supports our liver. This will help the liver detox to clean filter our blood, thus improve the quality of our blood and our ❤️!
So jump into berries this spring to help fight cancer and improve heart health!
